Description

Elevate your interiors with the URBAN 669 GREY rug, a stylish grey modern area rug designed to bring warmth, comfort, and contemporary appeal to your home. Its soft grey palette and subtle patterns create a calm, sophisticated foundation for modern interiors. The textured background adds visual depth while maintaining an understated appearance. Its plush, soft-touch pile feels comfortable underfoot and adds warmth to living spaces. The versatile design pairs beautifully with neutral furniture, timber flooring, light walls, and contemporary décor. Use this rug in living rooms, bedrooms, lounges, dining areas, or open-plan spaces where you want a refined and inviting atmosphere.

The URBAN 669 GREY rug is power loomed in Turkey using special heat-set polypropylene. Its approximately 20 mm high pile provides a soft, plush feel, while the approximately 22 mm total thickness adds warmth and texture. The rug features subtle and colourful patterns across a textured background, creating a modern and adaptable look. Jute backing provides added structure, while its shed-resistant and anti-static properties support easier everyday maintenance. Available sizes include 120 × 170 cm, 160 × 230 cm, 200 × 290 cm, and 240 × 330 cm. These rectangular options make it easy to select a suitable size for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, and larger open spaces. Hallway runner options are also available in 80 × 150 cm and 80 × 300 cm sizes.

This grey modern area rug offers flexible styling throughout your home. Place a larger size beneath a sofa and coffee table to define your living zone. Use it beneath a bed to add softness and warmth to your bedroom. It can also complement dining furniture or create a comfortable foundation in a lounge area. For care, vacuum regularly using a gentle setting and avoid rotating brush or beater attachments. Rotate the rug at least once a year to encourage even and balanced wear. Keep it away from direct sunlight and use suitable curtains or draperies where needed. Spot-clean spills promptly and avoid harsh cleaning methods that may affect the plush pile. With its soft-touch texture, subtle patterns, neutral grey palette, and durable construction, the URBAN 669 GREY rug adds lasting comfort and contemporary style to everyday interiors.

How to clean and maintain rugs?

Regular Vacuuming: Vacuum your rug weekly to remove dust and dirt. Use a vacuum with adjustable suction to prevent damage to delicate fibers.
Spot Cleaning: For spills or stains, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid scrubbing, as it can push the stain deeper into the fibers.
Mild Cleaning Solutions: Use a gentle rug cleaner diluted with water for tougher stains. Test a small, hidden area first to ensure colorfastness.
Rotate Periodically: Rotate your rug every few months to ensure even wear and prevent areas from fading due to sunlight.
Prevent Wear and Tear: Place rug pads underneath to avoid slipping and to reduce friction with the floor.
Deep Clean Annually: Schedule a professional rug cleaning once a year, especially for larger or high-traffic rugs, to maintain fabric quality.
Avoid Excess Water: When cleaning, avoid soaking the rug as excess water can weaken the backing or encourage mildew. Dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated area.
Shield from Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade colors. Use curtains or blinds to protect your rugs.
Be Pet-Friendly: If you have pets, trim their nails and clean up any accidents promptly to prevent damage.
Store Smartly: When storing rugs, roll them with the pile facing inward and use breathable materials for protection. Avoid plastic covers to prevent moisture buildup.
